Microsoft's Chromium Edge will take over Internet Explorer's duties with its IE Legacy Mode. Back in 2020, Microsoft discontinued IE 11 support for Microsoft accounts and apps, as I reported in the blog post Internet Explorer: No more support for Microsoft accounts and apps. The Microsoft Edge browser has, after all, been slated as a replacement for the aging Internet Explorer 11 for quite some time. In this FAQ, Microsoft details it all in more detail, and indicates where IE 11 support will continue to be provided. In addition, the Trident engine (MSHTML) remains in Windows, so the IE functions are still available internally for displaying certain content. So the Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC versions are not affected by this end of support any more than the Windows Server versions.

This retirement does not affect in-market Windows 10 LTSC or Server Internet Explorer 11 desktop applications. Microsoft had already announced this in May 2021 in this post, and confirmed the exceptions there. The Microsoft page in question states that Internet Explorer (IE) 11 will no longer be supported as a desktop application on certain versions of Windows 10 starting June 15, 2022.
